The Virtual Bet Midrash is dedicated to offering learning opportunities in the religious ambience of Masorti/Conservative Judaism. Here you will find Shiurim (lessons) on Mishnah, Prayer, Halakhah, Religious Philosophy and so forth.

The Virtual Bet Midrash consists of several study groups:

The Rabin Mishnah Study Group (RMSG). This study group offers ongoing study of Mishnah. The shiurim are sent out several times a a week via email, and this site serves as an archive for all the material that has accumulated over the years of study activity. The Halakhah Study Group offers shiurim on Halakhic texts. The format of the shiurim is similar to that established by RMSG, but the shiurim are distributed by email once a week. If you wish to receive these shiurim please visit the Subscription page.

The Hashkafah Study Group. Hashkafah is the Hebrew word for religious ideology. Here you will find articles and essays specially written for the Bet Midrash Virtuali on some aspect of Masorti/Conservative religious belief and ideology. Please visit this site regualrly and check in the 'Hashkafah Study Group' section to see if a new article or essay has been posted in the Hashkafah Study Group since your last visit.
